Prospective projects in the planning design phase
Lunar Methane Extraction for Sustainable Space Exploration
Our project focuses on developing and demonstrating the extraction of methane (CH4) from lunar regolith as a sustainable rocket fuel for future missions. This innovative approach could reduce dependence on Earth-based resupply by utilizing lunar resources. By leveraging the Sabatier process, we aim to efficiently produce and store methane on the Moon for use in space propulsion and energy needs. This initiative has the potential to revolutionize lunar exploration and support long-term human presence on the Moon and beyond.
